Life is for the Birds

As part of the Enthusiast Hotel Collection, Abaco Inn is proud to partner with the Cornell Lab of Ornithology to provide custom tours and educational materials about the local birds in the Abacos. There is a wide array of wild birds that call the Abacos home, from waterbirds like Herons and Egrets to songbirds like Warblers and Vireos.

The island’s varied habitats, including pine forests, wetlands, and beaches, offer ideal environments for birdwatching in the Abacos. Many of the bird species found in Abaco are migratory, making the island an important stopover location for these traveling birds throughout the year.

Join our local bird enthusiasts and our partners at the Cornell Ornithology Lab for birding tours or self-guided information about local birds, nesting sites, feeding habits, and more.
